Leigh Richmond " Dick " Roose , MM , (27 November 1877 – 7 October 1916) was a Welsh international footballer who kept goal for several professional clubs in the Football League between 1901 and 1912. A celebrated amateur at a time when the game was played largely by professionals, Roose was renowned as one of the best players in his position in the Edwardian period.
